Revisiting May

Maybe it is just too obvious, but this feels like the beginning of May to me.  There is bullish sentiment, the market is off the highs after a monster rally, and European problems are in the news.  It feels like a terrible spot to be long, so that is why I am short.  I hope I have the balls to ride this one down for a bit, unlike the last time.

One big difference. That was May and this is the Holiday season. Polar opposites in terms of seasonality. I'm not saying we can't go a couple of percent lower, I just don't think we will get a drop like last time.

Yes, the seasonality is less favorable. Actually the sentiment doesn't seem as bullish as April either. But it still looks like a good risk reward opportunity on the short side.

Sentiment seems MUCH more bullish than April to me.
